February's Challenge
The focus will be on Rotary branding for the websites and social media pages of our D7430 Clubs.  CLICK HERE for this month's video which highlights the "Why" of branding and then provides some "How To" tips.  Thanks to marketing/branding experts Val Deneen of the Emmaus Rotary and Shawn Deiter of Bethlehem Morning Star and Amy Sheller, Kutztown Rotary, for lending their time and expertise to the creation of this video and to this month's logo review efforts.

March Challenge
The March Challenge will focus on Storytelling and Communications.  Please view this month's video to see this month's content experts, Sharon Rittenhouse, D7430 District Administrator, and Marlene Heller, Allentown West Public Image Director, provide tips on this topic.

To participate in this month's challenge, we are asking Clubs to complete 2 of the following 3 tasks:
  1. Update the D7430 calendar this month with a Club event (Follow instructions in video)
  2. Submit an article to the Vibrant News before either the April 5th or June 5th publication deadlines (Follow instructions in video)
  3. E-mail a 2021 Club newsletter to the D7430 PI Chair for review and comment.  The 3 best newsletters will be highlighted and recognized in the April Governor's Challenge email and in our Public Image Facebook group.

April Challenge
Here is this month's Governor's Challenge video CLICK HERE.  It features Shawn Bariana,  Marketing & Communications Manager for LVCC, our social media expert sharing some of her techniques and ideas.

This month our Challenge will focus on what makes a "good" Social Media post.  Certainly consistent, regular posting is important to the success of a Club's social media efforts, but how do you create a really "stand out" post which generates buzz and LIKES and a wide reach among Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike?  By collecting a large variety of successful posts from D7430 clubs, analyzing them and sharing them with members of our PI Facebook Group we hope to help everyone improve the quality and success of their social media posts.
