4Way Speech Contest
District 7430 Four Way Test Speech Contest
Now is the time to make plans for your club’s participation in the District’s Four Way Test Speech Contest (FWTSC). High school students, grades 9 through 12 are eligible to participate. Each contestant chooses the topic of his/her speech. The purpose of the speech is to persuade others while applying the principles of Rotary's Four Way Test. Clubs are to work with the high school(s) in their geographic area to arrange for a Club contest from October 2025 through March 5, 2026. The Club winner proceeds to a regional contest on March 7, 2026, and those winners compete in the district final held March 28, 2026, following the Rotary Leadership Institute at DeSales University. Cash prizes are awarded at all levels. In the past 25 clubs have participated. More details are given in the Four Way Test Speech Contest Manual (FWTSC).
