As a member of the Emmaus Rotary club for the past 14 years, Cindy has been active in many levels of club activities: past President( 2011), Foundation International Chair, Fellowship chair and participating in various Club efforts. In District 7430, she has been Group Study Exchange Chair for a number of years, GSE Team Leader to the Philippines in 2011, Foundation Area Coordinator, Friendship Exchange Chair, and Foundation Grants Chair.
Cindy has had over 25 years senior level executive experience in operations and human resources primarily in manufacturing. Her experience includes business start ups, acquisitions, shut-downs etc. also on an international level. Things such as labor relations, recruiting, plant engineering, IT, quality development and strategic planning have been a part of her career.
She holds Bachelor Degrees in Public Relations and Economics from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Masters Degree in Business( M.B.A) from Gannon University. She has also taught numerous courses in both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
For the past 15 years, Cindy has owned and operated a wholesale business, which she initiated selling hand-made in the USA items to over 450 galleries and stores throughout the USA and North America.
Her husband, Chris is a retired chemist and an active member of Engineers Without Borders. Cindy and Chris enjoy a variety of activities including world travel( having traveled in over 70 countries), gardening, biking, stained glass, , hiking, photography as well as involved with community activities. They reside in Lower Macungie Township.
