The 2023 “STEM YEA Big Ticket Reverse Raffle Night” is scheduled for April 15, 2023 at Brookside Country Club, Pottstown.  Tickets can be purchased in advance through December 31, 2022 to take advantage of a 10% discount.  Total ticket sales are limited to 150 .  Your ticket helps to fund the operational costs of the STEM YEA program for middle schoolers, especially under-resourced students, to make it affordable for all clubs to sponsor students.   The ticket entitles you to a fun evening including hors de oeuvres, drinks, dinner and a lottery ticket with a chance to win one of numerous prizes totaling $7500 when 150 tickets are sold.  Organize your group and act now to purchase your tickets.  We also welcome sponsorship from businesses and individuals. Peter R. Kowey, MD, FACC is a specialist in cardiovascular electrophysiology and is confirmed as guest speaker. He will share insights gained through his life journey in the medical field https://www.peterkowey.com/author-bio/   His expertise has included serving as an expert witness in some very fascinating malpractice cases, and inspired him to share his experience by authoring a series of medical mystery novels. Dr. Kowey is a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Joseph’s University, holds the WW Smith Research Chair at Lankenau Heart Institute, and is a Professor of Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology at Jefferson. He and his wife have established scholarship support for women pursuing a STEM education at the collegiate level. They are also keenly interested in STEM in earlier grades, and in particular the Rotary STEM YEA program.
