Allentown West is hard at work on its first Flags For Unity program, to take place May 22-26, on the practice field of Parkland High School. About 500 American flags will be on display, each one dedicated in honor or in memory of a hero who is or was a first responder, veteran, in the military, or other loved ones. Events over the four days will include speeches, a military fly-over, sky diving, and more. The public has the opportunity to adopt or purchase flags. Sponsorships are still available. More information is available at FlagsForUnity.org.
