The Rotaplast committee has been busy meeting many clubs in District 7430 and sharing our presentation about our 2019 Mission to Guatemala last fall. Thank you to all the clubs who have welcomed us through Zoom. It has been wonderful meeting so many members of our District. So far, we have presented to over 16 clubs out of 47 clubs in our District. If you would like to hear our presentation, please contact Darlene Scott at dscott@cwmeter.com, or myself, Susan Burnett at burnetts@rcn.com to arrange a time.

We are a quarter of the way to our funding goal. We need to raise about $100,000 to go on our next mission and so far, we have raised $26,000. So, we have a long way to go. Please keep your eyes out for a fun Christmas fundraiser we have in the works. More information on that shortly.

As you may know, Rotaplast has had to cancel all missions due to Covid-19. To save funding, they have also had to furlough all staff. The organization is currently being run by the BOD. Luckily, the organization owns their building which houses a lot of equipment and supplies that have been donated. Click Here to read the full story of how Rotaplast is persevering thru the pandemic and is making plans for post-pandemic.

Finally, the District 7430 Rotaplast Committee is always looking for new members. If you are looking for something to get involved in, please reach out to me, Susan Burnett – Co-Chair, at burnetts@rcn.com.

Thank you for continuing your great support of Rotaplast.

Sincerely,
Susan Burnett
