The Morrisville-Yardley Area Rotary Club, in collaboration with the Mundgod Heritage Rotary Club in Karnataka, India, and supported by the Central Chester County Rotary Club, obtained a Global Grant that establishes a Neonatal Intensive Care unit in the local Taluka Hospital.

This unit will address the community's high infant mortality rate by providing free services to the poor families in the area who cannot afford to get to the nearest unit that is some 100 miles away. The services aid infants who are born prematurely, born with low birth weight, or born with ailments like neonatal sepsis and shock, transient tachypnea of new-born and neonatal distress.
