Hello from the STEM YEA team,

TWENTY-THREE District 7430 Rotary Clubs have stepped up to sponsor SIXTY-TWO underserved students in schools throughout our District. Those 62 students will be part of a four-day, three-night residential Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Academy at Albright College July 8-11, 2022.

The theme “Astrobiology: The Search for Life on Mars” does not tell the entire story. The Delaware Valley Astronomy Association is providing “Moon Watch” activities in the evening.

Interactors and Rotarians will be working with STEM YEA student participants to tell the story of Rotary. They will also provide ways to become involved with Interact Clubs, Rotary Scholarships, the 4-Way Test Contest, and Rotary-sponsored service activities.

The Registration deadline is APRIL 1, 2022. Registration packets and more information are available at www.stemyea.com or by contacting Mike Orbin (morbin@ptd.net) or Gwenn Carr (gwenn.carr@verizon.net).

Don’t miss this opportunity for your Rotary Club to provide a life-changing experience for a young person.
