Club maintained Park on Sand Island across from the Ice House restored for the 100th Anniversary of Bethlehem Rotary with help from BAVTS students. The Park was originally established by the Club for our 75th Anniversary with help from Liberty H.S. students. Since the City will not maintain the Park, we-along with student groups weed, trim, and maintain the park for all to enjoy. Our goal is to provide a peaceful area one can enjoy walking or sitting in as the Lehigh River flows nearby and watch the plant and wildlife that inhabit the Park while also allowing students to perform community service and learn gardening & painting skills and take pride in their City. Also a venue for Club meeting & social events.
